author : Margaret James
Margaret is a chocoholic who grew up in Hereford, a medieval cathedral city in England - think half timbered houses, ancient churches, cobbled streets, all very Disney but real - and this probably accounts for her love of all things historical. \n\nShe's written 16 published novels, including the Denham family saga series of women's interest fiction - The Silver Locket, The Golden Chain, The Penny Bangle, The Wedding Diary, Magic Sometimes Happens and Girl in Red Velvet. She's also co-authored three how-to guides with her writing partner Cathie Hartigan - The Creative Writing Student's Handbook, The Short Story Writer's Workbook and The Novelist's Workbook. \n\nMargaret is a busy journalist, contributing several pages to every issue of the UK's Writing Magazine, and she's one third of the team that runs CreativeWritingMatters - www.creativewritingmatters.co.uk - a British company that organises international writing competitions, including the Exeter Novel Prize. \n\nShe lives in Devon, England, which is famous for its gorgeous beaches and wild scenery, which she loves to explore - often eating chocolate as she strides along!\n\nShe loves to hear from readers and writers, so do get in touch.\nhttps://www.facebook.com/margaret.james.5268\nhttps://twitter.com/majanovelist\nmargaret1024@gmail.com\n
